Now everyone probably knows what Facebook is and how it works, so we will not go into much depth with this application.

Facebook is more of a social interaction with friends and is now getting used more and more for business and non profit organizations. What is great about this is that you can quickly see what is happening within an Organization, events coming up and photos of events. it can be used as a discussion forum too.

What is Twitter? It is many different things to many different people. It can be used by a family to keep in touch, or a company to coordinate business, or the media to keep people informed or a writer to build up a fan base.

Twitter is micro-blogging. It is social messaging. It is an event coordinator, a business tool, a news reporting service and a marketing utility.

Twitter is more of a quick news feed, only 140 characters can be used for a "tweet". it is direct and straight to the point usually. this service is fantastic for following organizations and seeing what they are doing and the events that are coming up.

For more info and how to start "tweeting" please check out this site Twitter

What is a blog? 'A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominently.'

Blogs are usually (but not always) written by one person and are updated pretty regularly. Blogs are often (but not always) written on a particular topic – there are blogs on virtually any topic you can think of. From photography, to recipes, to personal diaries to hobbies – blogging has as many applications and varieties as you can imagine.

So I nope you have not been too confused and you have found this to be quite interesting.
